Splinter Cell developer says game will not disappoint

The Splinter Cell: Conviction saga drags on, with the development team making a post on the official franchise forums saying nobody would be disappointed with the final game.
"It's been a while since our last message but we're happy to say that development of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction is continuing well and the game is shaping up nicely," the dev team enthused.
"There are lots of rumours flying around right now about Conviction's development status and we can tell you that the gameplay has evolved, similar to what happens in every game's development process, and you won't be disappointed."
Despite these comments, gamers are cautious, considering the game clearly wasn't in a 'nicely shaped' state in time for the recent UbiDays event in Paris.
Ubisoft themselves told the press that it was "not ready to be more specific" about the status of the game.
The dev team's post touched on this: "Unfortunately we're not able to make Ubidays this year but in the forthcoming months we'll be back in touch to begin showing you this new installment of the Splinter Cell series."
