PES 2011 is handed price reduction

The price of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 (PES 2011) will fall to a lower price across the Playstation 3, Xbox 260 and PC platforms on April 1st.

Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 players will be able to buy the game for £29.99, while PC owners can pick it up for just £19.99.

Jon Murphy, European PES team leader, said: "PES 2011 represents a huge step forward for the series and its new lower price will be a welcome chance for football fans to sample the sheer skill and artistry the game offers."

Originally released in October, 2011's instalment of the PES franchise introduced several new gameplay features, such as new artificial intelligence routines and a fresh power bar system.

PES' main rival Fifa recently released a new update for gamers, which includes a new Play-A-Friend Challenge mode and a revamped set of online leaderboards.
