BioShock movie to arrive with third game in series

Strauss Zelnick, fresh from touring the globe on a GTA-marketing mission, has turned his attention to BioShock, another of the company's hit franchises.

Mr Zelnick has said that the Gore Verbinski-directed BioShock movie would be on show in cinemas at the same time the third iteration of the game is falling off shelves into gamers' shopping baskets.

"It's more likely that it would be released coincident with BioShock 3," he stated in an investor call related to the newly released second quarter financials.

Talking about the third game when the second has barely been announced is ambitious, to say the least, but what is more interesting is the alleged possibility of a BioShock MMO, reported in March.
